Iran invites Bahraini minister to attend Judiciary summit in Tehran

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Bahraini Justice Minister Khalid bin Ali al-Khalifa here on Tuesday was invited to participate in Iran's first Judiciary summit of the Islamic states to be held in Tehran on December 4-6.

The invitation was submitted to al-Khalifa by Iran's Ambassador to Manama Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
The two officials underscored the need for further expansion of Tehran-Manama judicial cooperation.
Both al-Khalifa and Amir-Abdollahian voiced their readiness to materialize the judicial agreement inked between the two sides during Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi's visit to Bahrain in June 2005.
Lauding Iran's initiative to hold first judicial summit, al-Khalifa expressed his readiness to attend the three-day confab.
